PR1 Espresso Machine Auto Timer Mode

PR1 mode specific operation steps

 

  1. Place the coffee scale on the platform of the Espresso coffee machine.
  2. Turn on the power to the scale. Place a cup on the scale. Wait two seconds for the weight of the cup to tare automatically.
  3. Start the Espresso coffee machine. As soon as you feel a coffee pour, the scale starts weighing and the timer starts automatically.
  4. Once extraction is complete, the weighing and timer automatically stop. (Key functions will also be locked)
  5. Remove the cup, the data shows 3 seconds. Another 3 second countdown begins, the data is cleared, and you are ready for the next extraction.

 

To switch modes: double click on the timer button, after the mode flashes, double click on the timer button again.

Tip: If you are not used to the locked timing and weight of PR1 in use, please switch to PR2 water drop mode, which also enables automatic timing.(Does not lock timing and weight)

PR2 Brew Manual Timing Mode

 

  1. Turn on the coffee scale. Place the coffee pot and filter paper on the scale. When ready, press the "Open-Off button" to tare.
  2. Add the ground coffee to the weight you want. The scale will measure the weight.
  3. Press the "Open-Off button" to tare. The weight of the coffee powder is removed. Press the "Timer Button" to start the timer while pouring in the water.
  4. When the brewing is finished, all data is displayed precisely.

 

To switch modes: double click on the timer button, after the mode flashes, double click on the timer button again.

PR2' Brewing Auto Timer Mode

 

  1. Turn on the coffee scale. Place the coffee pot and filter paper on the scale. When ready, press the "on-off button" to tare.
  2. Add the coffee grounds to your desired weight. The scale will measure the weight.
  3. When ready to brew, in PR2 mode, press and hold the Timer button to enter PR2' Brew Auto Timer mode." ' " appears and when you start pouring in water, the timer will automatically start working and the weighing will begin.
  4. When brewing is complete, the cup is removed and the data shows 3 seconds. Another 3-second countdown starts and the data is cleared.

 

Note: The only way to enter PR2' is to press and hold the timer button in PR2 mode.
